SMB Marketing Tips: How to Promote Your Loyalty Club

Posted by Joanna Braunold on Aug 7, 2013 8:25:21 AM

So, you've got your awesome new LoyalBlocks app up and running. Now how do you promote your loyalty club? What are the next steps to make sure that your current customers know about your club, and how can you get new customers through your doors? Here are some ideas to help you get your club started with a bang!

Coopers Seafood promoting their loyalty clubFacebook - Post a link to the LoyalBlocks app page on your Facebook page so that your fans hear about your loyalty club. Talk about it regularly - don't forget that not all your fans see every single post you make to Facebook. Share your tokens and let people know what they can get from you if they join. Check out Cooper's Seafood as an example of a Facebook post publicizing their loyalty club.

Facebook friends tokens - LoyalBlocks comes with the built in ability for you to reward customers for inviting their Facebook friends. You can ask them all to invite up to 10 friends to be entitled to unlock the token. That's 10 more people who will have heard about your club, and thus be more likely to join. And if all those 10 people invite 10 more... you're in business!

Martini Bar Gulfstream promoting their loyalty club on TwitterTwitter - Twitter is a great way to share updates with your customers. It's moves much faster than Facebook, which means you can share updates more often. We try to share our merchants tweets as well, so don't forget to tag @LoyalBlocks to make sure we see it, so we can share it with our followers! Martini Bar Gulfstream shared their loyalty club on Twitter, and we retweeted their tweet to give it more publicity.

Email campaigns - Email is a great way to be in touch with your customers, if you already have an email list for them. LoyalBlocks has a built in option to let you email all your current customers to promote your loyalty club, just to make it a little easier for you!

Marketing materials in store - We provide you with marketing materials that you can put up in your store. We've also seen some great stuff that merchants have done on their own, which we always love!

Bergers NYC promoting their loyalty club on their websiteWebsite - Add LoyalBlocks to your website. Customers often check your website to find out more about what they can get from your business - so why not give them an extra reason to visit?! Berger's Delicatessen mention their LoyalBlocks loyalty club on their home page and provide a QR code so that diners can easily download the app.

We'd love to hear what you're doing to promote your loyalty club - let us know in the comments!
