Merchant Monday: Crusader Martial Arts

Merchant Monday is a series of posts about some of our favorite merchants. If you’re interested in being featured here, please contact Joanna. If you’re interested in becoming a LoyalBlocks merchant, head over to our website now to set up your customer loyalty program.

Crusader Martial Arts

Crusader Martial Arts, in Wyoming, Michigan, is a Christian martial arts studio that studies the art of Tan Soo Do Kyohoe Kwan (which translates to mean God's way of the Open Chinese Hand). It was set up over 28 years ago, and has grown to be the biggest martial arts school in West Michigan. Crusader Martial Arts has an especially high number of female students compared to other schools - impressive in such a male dominated sport.

Loyalty and LoyalBlocks

We were excited to speak with Jaci Kinner, Vice President of Crusader Martial Arts. She has an inspirational track record - after starting as a student in 2004, she became an instructor three years later and has since taught over 1,000 women and 400 children self defense. To her, loyalty is means "to be by ones side no matter the odds" - something that she, and Crusader Martial Arts, show to their students as much as they can.

Crusader Martial Arts started working with LoyalBlocks in February, and we're loving working with them. They've got some great rewards set up as part of their loyalty program to really show their appreciation to their customers - like discounts at their shop for Silver, Gold, and Platinum members. They offer reductions on seminars, or shop discounts, for members who invite their Facebook friends to join and for those who complete a punch card.

"I love how simple and easy the program is," says Jaci. "The LoyalBlocks staff are laid back, easy going and personable - which is really important to us."

We're looking forward to seeing the Crusader Martial Arts LoyalBlocks club keep growing, and excited to hear the news from their impressive staff and students!
