The new year is a time to reflect on the past and think up some goals for the future. A ton of people make a resolution to lose a few pounds, others choose to limit their television watching, some want to read more books--but as a small business owner, what resolutions do you make?
Here are a few resolutions that we think are great for any small biz owner--
Start--or continue to--shop locally! Small Businesses supporting small businesses is key in keeping the community going strong. "A sustainable world means working together to create prosperity for all."
Find an event or some type of trade show in your industry to attend. While there, network and market your business face to face.
Consolidate your social media accounts. Social media marketing is imperative to marketing your small business! By using a platform such as Tweetdeck or Hootsuite, you're freeing up a ton of your time and still being present through scheduling tweets, posts, emails, etc...
Take a class. Continuing Ed is offered everywhere, you can even do this online. Continuing to learn and become more knowledgable about the business world and all that comes with it is always a good idea.
Last--but not least, take a vacation! We're all human, every one needs a break to regroup, gain some perspective while lying on a tropical beach only to return super relaxed and well-rested!
So what resolutions have you made for 2016?
